The conference welcomes a diversity of scientific perspectives.Participants are encouraged to present well-founded research, data, and analytical insights.
The “Iceberg Principle”The conference follows an approach that can be described as an “iceberg principle”.The presentations themselves represent the visible part of a larger effort, which includes:• preparation and background research • collection and organization of scientific materials • consideration of multiple perspectives This approach supports a more comprehensive understanding of the topics under discussion.
Long-Term PerspectiveThis conference is part of a long-term initiative. It is intended to be held annually, with the goal of:● gradually expanding the knowledge base in this field ● supporting the development of research ● strengthening collaboration within the scientific community

Plenary PresentationsThe conference includes 12 plenary presentations, all by invitation.Each plenary talk is:• focused on key research questions • designed to highlight important aspects of the conference themes • aimed at identifying areas where further research is needed
Thematic SessionsThere are 24 presentations across two thematic sections:• Water • Soils These presentations:• are aligned with the overall conference themes • contribute to the broader discussion initiated in the plenary sessions
Poster PresentationsPoster presentations provide an opportunity to present additional case studies and applied research.They:• expand the range of topics covered • allow for the inclusion of diverse approaches and experiences All poster contributions are connected to the overall conference themes.

Third Day: Research and Project Discussion
The third day of the conference is dedicated to discussion of future research directions and potential collaboration.
In the current global context, including ongoing military conflicts such as those in Ukraine and the Gulf region, there is a growing need to better understand environmental and public health impacts.
The aim of this discussion is to:• explore effective research approaches • exchange methodological ideas • identify opportunities for collaboration across institutions and disciplines The focus is on building a shared understanding of how complex consequences can be studied in a systematic and scientifically grounded way.
