Download brief conference information. A concise two-page overview for colleagues, institutions, NGOs, media, and potential contributors.
The conference program includes plenary presentations, parallel thematic sessions, oral presentations, and electronic poster presentations.
Day 1 will feature 12 plenary presentations.
Day 2 will include four parallel thematic sessions, with 10–12 oral presentations in each session.
Day 3 will be dedicated to the discussion of scientific projects and collaborative research initiatives focused on war-related pollution.
This day is designed as a project-oriented component of the conference. Its purpose is to translate the scientific outcomes of plenary presentations, thematic sessions, oral contributions, and e-poster materials into structured research directions.
The discussion will focus on project concepts, comparative case studies, methodological protocols, data requirements, interdisciplinary research teams, joint publications, and possible international research consortia. Particular attention will be given to projects addressing the links between war-related contamination, soil degradation, freshwater systems, exposure pathways, ecosystem impacts, and public health consequences.
Day 3 will therefore serve as a transition from conference discussion to organized scientific work. It will support the identification of research priorities, the formation of collaborative groups, and the development of future studies within the broader framework of war, pollution, soil, freshwater systems, and disease-related consequences.
Electronic poster presentations / e-Posters will be available online throughout the conference days.
