War, Soil, and Freshwater Systems. Conference Prague, 15–17 October 2026
DOI Assignment and Management Policy
The Pollution and Diseases publishing ecosystem registers DOIs through Crossref under the prefix:
**10.66659**
The prefix remains unchanged.
DOI suffixes are generated automatically by the publishing platform. They are not manually constructed according to content type, year, sequential number, or any visible descriptive pattern.
Previous examples of structured DOI suffixes should be treated as obsolete guidance.
Conference DOI policy
For the War, Soil, and Freshwater Systems Conference, DOIs are assigned to:
- accepted abstracts, after official registration of the presenting participant has been confirmed;
- plenary presentation records;
- oral/session presentation records;
- poster and e-poster presentation records;
- selected post-conference publications, where applicable.
Official registration means that the applicable conference registration fee has been paid and received.
DOIs are not assigned to:
- submitted abstracts that are not accepted;
- accepted abstracts without confirmed registration;
- withdrawn contributions;
- duplicate records;
- draft or incomplete submissions.
Metadata and access
Each DOI resolves to a landing page with bibliographic metadata and citation information.
The DOI landing page may be public, while full presentation files, recordings, slides, and working materials may remain restricted to registered participants unless public access is approved by the authors and organizers.
Once a DOI has been registered, the DOI string is not changed or reused. Metadata may be corrected or updated when necessary.
