Technical reliabilityLive online presentations are always subject to potential technical disruptions, including unstable internet connections, audio/video issues, or platform failures. Pre-recorded presentations eliminate these risks and ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience for all participants.2. Global participation and time zone differencesThe conference operates on Central European Time (CET), while speakers and participants join from all over the world.For example:• United States (Eastern Time) is typically 6 hours behind CET • United States (Pacific Time) is 9 hours behind CET • China is 6–7 hours ahead of CET This means that live presentations could take place very early in the morning or late at night for many speakers. Pre-recorded presentations ensure equal conditions for all participants regardless of location.3. Tight and structured conference scheduleThe conference program is designed with a high density of sessions. Live presentations often introduce delays due to technical setup, connection issues, or time overruns. Such disruptions can affect the entire schedule, which we aim to avoid.For these reasons, pre-recorded presentations are the standard format of the conference.
