Conference Publications

All accepted contributions are published through the official Pollution and Diseases journal. The publication process follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review standard and is provided free of charge, ensuring both academic quality and accessibility.
All conference materials will be published as part of a structured and long-term scientific initiative.
Prior to the conference, all plenary papers will be published in advance. Participants are expected to review these materials beforehand to ensure a high level of discussion and engagement. All publications in both the journal and the book series are completely free of charge for authors. There are no article processing charges (APC), no submission fees, and no publication fees. All costs are fully covered by the journal, ensuring equal access and full academic independence.
Peer-Review and Editorial Standards
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each paper is evaluated by independent reviewers, ensuring objectivity, scientific quality, and methodological integrity.
The journal is supported by an international editorial board composed of experts from relevant scientific disciplines. This guarantees a high level of academic oversight and a broad, interdisciplinary perspective.
The editorial process follows internationally recognized ethical standards, including COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. All submissions are subject to plagiarism screening and ethical compliance checks prior to publication.
Indexing and Academic Visibility
The journal and book series are developed in accordance with international publishing standards and best practices, with a strong focus on long-term academic visibility and indexing in recognized scientific databases. The initiative is structured to meet the criteria required by major indexing systems such as Scopus and Web of Science.
All published materials are assigned DOIs via Crossref, ensuring permanent accessibility, citability, and integration into the global scientific ecosystem.

This volume will include:
● all materials related to plenary presentations● selected contributions and insights from conference discussions● additional papers prepared after the conference and submitted before the final deadline
The book is scheduled for publication in January 2027.
The conference is designed as an annual event, planned to take place each autumn in Central Europe. Locations may vary between cities such as Prague, Vienna, Munich, and others.
A key objective of this initiative is the continuous accumulation of knowledge. All materials will be systematically collected and made available in electronic format, forming a growing and accessible scientific resource.
