Plenary Presentations

Plenary presentations will take place on the first day of the conference and will include 12 invited talks addressing the core themes of the conference.
Each plenary presentation is allocated 20 minutes, followed by two questions. The questions are prepared by the Organizing Committee and agreed with the speakers in advance. This format is not intended to make the answers easier or more predictable. Its purpose is to keep the discussion focused, avoid unnecessary loss of time, and ensure that each presentation addresses the key scientific and analytical issues relevant to the conference framework.
The plenary session is designed to provide a structured overview of the most important research directions, knowledge gaps, methodological challenges, and policy-relevant questions related to war, soil contamination, freshwater systems, environmental health, and long-term recovery.
