War, Soil, and Freshwater Systems. Conference Prague, 15–17 October 2026
Where to Stay in Prague
The conference will take place at Novotného lávka 200/5, Prague 1, in the very heart of Prague’s historic centre. It is an exceptional location, close to Charles Bridge, the Vltava River and many of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Prague offers a very wide choice of hotels, apartments and other accommodation, so there is no need to stay directly in the historic centre. In fact, you can comfortably choose a hotel in almost any part of Prague, even several kilometres away from the conference venue.
The most important factor when choosing your hotel is easy access to the Prague Metro. Ideally, we recommend selecting accommodation within walking distance of a metro station. Prague has an efficient public transport system, and the metro provides fast and convenient connections to the city centre. From most parts of Prague, the historic centre can be reached within approximately 15–25 minutes, depending on the location.
Because the conference venue is in central Prague, practically all major transport routes lead towards the centre, making it easy to reach Novotného lávka from different parts of the city.
We strongly recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible. Prague is one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations and attracts visitors throughout the year. Hotels, particularly those with convenient locations and good public transport connections, can therefore fill up quickly.
When choosing your hotel, we recommend focusing primarily on proximity to a metro station, convenient transport connections and your preferred price category, rather than only on distance from the historic centre.
